Overview
Only admins can add and manage trusted vendors. This article will go over how to add a new trusted vendor, order vendors, update them, and delete them.

Add a Trusted Vendor
On the Global Vendors page, look for the desired vendor tab if applicable, and click Add Vendors.
Use the top dropdown to select the vendor category.
Note: If you need a new vendor category created, please reach out to helpme@ruuster.com
To add a vendor to the category, click the plus sign.
The following fields must be filled out for each vendor. If a field is left blank, then the vendor will not display.
First and Last Name - Enter the first and last name of the vendor.
Job Title - Enter the job title of the vendor.
Company Name - Fill out the company associated with the vendor.
E-Mail Address - Enter a contact email for the vendor.
Phone Number - Enter a contact number for the vendor.
City, State - Enter the vendor’s location.
Tip: You can input any custom text information in these fields if you choose. Instead of Janet Jackson, you could input “Main Street Mortgage” and instead of Job Title, you could input “10% off discount with code 10OFF”.
Now it’s time to determine what happens if a client is interested in talking to a vendor. There will be a button under the vendor information for a client to learn more.
If you would like to direct a client to the vendor's website, enter the website in the Link/URL field. Enter something like Apply Now or Get Started in the Button text field. The image below shows the button that will take a client to the entered URL.
If you do not enter information for the Link/URL or Button text field, then there will only be a Contact button available. When a client clicks Contact, they will be connected to the vendor via the vendor's e-mail address. The agent, client, and vendor will be sent an email connecting all parties together.
Click Save at the bottom of each vendor to keep your changes.
Order a Trusted Vendor
When you have multiple vendors in a category, the vendor at the top or first on the page, will be shown first as an option to clients. You can change the order of vendors by clicking the Order button with the up or down arrow.
Edit a Trusted Vendor
You can edit a vendor by clicking the Edit Vendor button. Make sure to always save your changes.
Delete a Trusted Vendor
If you want to remove a vendor, click Delete at the bottom.
