When clients first register for the app, you can decide whether you’d like to collect more information from them or allow them to skip straight to using the app. 

The onboarding questions cover information such as the:  

  • Expected purchase timeframe

  • Stage in the search process

  • Price range

  • Location preference

  • Their credit score

  • Desired property type

  • Intended property use

  • If they are a first-time buyer

  • If they are prequalified for a mortgage

Information entered by a client in the questionnaire will later be available in their profile details.

In this article, we’ll go over how to enable or disable the onboarding questionnaire. 

 

Choose Onboarding Options

On a mobile device, hit the menu button in the top right.

For desktops, look at the left navigation bar.

Scroll to the Admin view section and click Global Settings. In the dropdown, select Onboarding.

Locate the Skip the onboarding questionnaire switch. Toggle the switch left if you want new clients to fill out the onboarding questions when creating an account.

Toggle the switch to the right if you do not want new clients to fill out the questionnaire before creating their account, creating a simpler sign-up.
