Generate New Leads with Quick-Share Links

Quick-create share links with delayed registration options, page titles, custom tag(s) application, UTM parameters, and more.

Summary

Now you can create and quick-share search results, selected properties, and individual properties with marketing links. These squeeze pages allow you to select between forced registration or not, allow for delayed registration requirements based on property views, add pages titles, pass tags associated with any new leads you capture, and more. 

When to Use Quick-Share Links to Generate New Leads 

Ruuster's quick-share links are helpful when: 

  • You want to generate squeeze pages for your PPC campaigns. 

  • You want to apply a page title and description for sharing via text or social. 

  • You want to apply a "delayed" registration requirement so that potential clients can click through one or more properties before being asked to register. 

  • You want to tag-base route new leads based on specific registration pages. 

...and more. 

Quick-share links will help you generate more leads in a sophisticated and time-saving fashion. 

Generate a Quick-Share Link from the Search Results Page or Property Detail Page

You can generate a quick-share link by selecting the "share" option in any of three locations: 

  • General search results page. 

  • Selecting one-or-more specific properties from search results. 

  • An individual property page.

From here, you can "Copy Share Link" to share, or quick-share to Facebook, WhatsApp, or email – or you can select to review the "Advanced Share Options" first (more on that below). 

Optionally Select to Apply Advanced Share Settings 

Once you've selected to generate a quick-share link, you can optionally select to review the "Advanced Share Options".

In the Advanced Share Options, the following are available: 

Forced Registration 

  • Not Enabled [default]. This means that any consumer who clicks your link will not be required to create an account in order to review one or more properties in your Ruuster IDX. 

  • Enabled. This means that any consumer who clicks your link will be required to create an account in order to review one or more properties in your Ruuster IDX, based on the registration popup selection (more on that below). 

Registration Popup After 

  • This option will display conditionally on whether Forced Registration: Enabled option has been selected. 

  • The dropdown menu includes eleven (11) available options: 

    • 0 Property Views (Immediately) [default] 

    • 1 Property View 

    • 2 Property Views

    • 3 Property Views

    • 4 Property Views

    • 5 Property Views

    • 6 Property Views

    • 7 Property Views

    • 8 Property Views

    • 9 Property Views

    • 10 Property Views

  • Depending on the selection, any non-logged in user using the link and viewing associated properties should be required to register for an account after the specified number of property views.  

    • A property view is defined as having looked at a unique property detail page.

         

Page Title 

  • Enter a page title view that will display at the top of the search results page.

  • If no title is entered, no title will display. 

  • Here there is also a sub-option for: Show number of properties before page title. 

    • If this sub-option is selected, the total number of property results will display before the page title.

    • For example, if your page title is Beverly Hills Properties for Sale, and the total number of property results is 45, the page title would display as 45 Beverly Hills Properties for Sale. 

Link Title 

  • The link title value is the "title" of the link when displayed in preview mode via social media post or text message. 

  • If no link title is entered, a default one will be added in its place. 

  • You can preview your link title as you type. 

Link Description 

  • The link description value is the “description” of the link when displayed in preview mode via social media post or text message. Please note: The link description does not display in preview mode via iMessage. 

  • If no link description is entered, a default one will be added in its place.

  • You can preview your link description as you type. 

Register Leads To 

  • If you are an agent-level user, leads generated via your personal quick-share links will be auto-assigned to you, and this option will not display. 

  • If you are an account admin, you have the option to choose who leads who register via your quick-share links are assigned to. The agent names will display in alphabetical order, and your name will be at the top. 

Tags 

  • Auto-tag any leads who register via the quick-share link with the tag value(s) entered into this field. 

  • Enter one or more tags to this field by typing and pressing Enter, or by typing and adding a comma. The tags can be removed one-by-one by deleting the tag via Delete key, or pressing the X in an individual tag container to remove it.

UTM Parameters (Advanced) 

  • If you are working with a PPC provider, or are managing PPC campaigns yourself, you will probably want to utilize this section. 

  • Here there are fields for: 

    • Campaign 

    • Source 

    • Medium 

    • Term 

    • Content 

Reset all parameters 

  • If you want to remove all your entered values and start from scratch, select "Reset all parameters".
