Overview 

Our app provides a customizable real estate search to help you find the perfect place to call home. In this article, we’ll go over how to access the home search feature and some basics on how to use it. 

Note: Once you’ve created a home search, learn about saved searches and how to favorite homes to save time!

Start Your Home Search

Depending on your app setup, you can start your home search right on the dashboard by clicking Home Search. 

On a desktop, you can also click Home Search in the left menu. 

On a mobile device, click the menu icon and then select Home Search. 

You can now get started by selecting your search area!

Select Search Area

By default, you’ll see the map view of homes. There are two ways to select what geographic area to search for homes.

You can enter the city, zip, school district, neighborhood, or address in the search bar. Results will be displayed for the selected region.

To remove the area, click the X to the right. 

You can also manually draw a search area on the map. Click the Draw button to the right. Click and drag to create an area to search. 

Note: On a mobile device, tap or click on the screen at each point you’d like to create the border around the preferred area.

To remove the selected area, click Clear Bounds to the right

Now you’re ready to filter results by property characteristics.

Filter Home Results

At the top of the Home Search page, you can select filters based on what you’re looking for in a home. Click Filters next to the search bar. 

Choose price ranges, room counts, home types, and more based on what you’re looking for. When you’re done, click See listings at the bottom to see matching results. Only homes matching all of your criteria will be displayed.

Click on any of the property pins to see its details page!

Note: Created the perfect search? Save a search so that you can receive notifications any time a property matches all the desired criteria!

Change Your Results View

If you want a simpler view of properties that match your search, click List View at the bottom of the Home Search page. 

All matching properties will be displayed in an ordered list. You can click on any property to open up its details page. 

You can return to the map view by clicking Map View at the bottom of the page.
